Chiropractic Care
Many health insurance plans cover chiropractic care and Dr. Hillwig is a participating provider for Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana, Devon as well as several other companies. We are more than happy to check for you whether chiropractic care may be part of your insurance plan. Please bring your insurance card to your first appointment as well as any co-payment/deductible, if applicable.
Should the above not apply, chiropractic examination fees range from $40-$100 and treatments from $35-$65, each depending on complexity. An average initial visit is around $100. An average follow-up is around $40/visit.
Nutritional Care
Most health insurances will not cover nutritional counseling as it falls under “elective care” or “wellness care”.
A one hour nutritional consultation is $125. The 3-visit counseling package, which includes individualized written recommendations, is $250.*
*Please note: The $250 fee does not include the cost of laboratory testing (where applicable) and/or supplements (where applicable).
*Beyond the initial 3 visits, additional appointments are billable at the rate of $45 per 20-minute consultation. Emails and phone consults beyond the initial 3 visits may also be billable at the rate of $45 for 20 minutes.
