As of January 2018, Dr. Hillwig is an out-of-network provider for commercial insurances (Medicare is an exception).

Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic examination fees range from $75-$100 and treatments from $60-$85, depending on complexity. Typical initial appointments are $140 and follow-up treatments are $65 / session.
Health savings plans (HSAs/FSAs) may be used for payment, and partial reimbursement to you from your insurance may be possible as many health plans offer coverage for chiropractic care. Dr. Hillwig is currently an out-of-network provider for Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana, Devon as well as several other companies.
We are more than happy to check for you whether your insurance plan has out-of-network coverage and provide you with a detailed invoice that you may be able to use to obtain reimbursement directly from your insurance company (if applicable).
Nutritional Care
Most health insurances will not cover nutritional counseling as it falls under “elective care” or “wellness care”.
A one hour nutritional consultation is $150. The 3-visit counseling package, which includes individualized written recommendations, is $300.*
*Please note: The $300 fee does not include the cost of laboratory testing (where applicable) and/or supplements (where applicable).
*Beyond the initial 3 visits, additional appointments are billable at the rate of $60 per 20-minute consultation. Emails and phone consults beyond the initial 3 visits may also be billable at the rate of $60 for 20 minutes.
